Synopsis:

Pat, an isolating, military veteran is asked to put his pain aside to be the father his adult son needs when the young man arrives unannounced… but will he be able to?

David Purdham as Pat

As a professional actor and director, David Purdham has worked extensively in theatre on and off Broadway, in many of the great resident theatres in our country(including New York Shakespeare Festival, Roundabout Theatre, Manhattan Theatre Club, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Old Globe- San Diego, Yale Repertory Theatre, American Repertory Theatre, Long Wharf Theatre, Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival) as well a lot of television and film during the last 45 years. He is a member of the NEW AMERICAN THEATRE, and directs The Tempus Theatre Group’s Classical Play reading series (an exploration by professional actors of the evolution of theatre from the Greeks forward.) There is a nice Television Series on HBO - “Winning Time”, in which he plays Larry O’Brien, the commissioner of the NBA.

David Andrew Calvillo as Zayne

David Andrew Calvillo is an American actor born and raised in the San Fernando Valley.

After attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles and New York, he landed a recurring role as ‘Gerard’ in season four of Netflix’s global hit ‘Never Have I Ever’ (2023).

He can also be seen on the Apple TV+ series ‘Platonic’ (2023), starring alongside Rose Byrne, and the MAX/Starz 70’s period comedy ‘Minx’ (2022).

His upcoming projects include the highly anticipated Mythic Quest spinoff ‘Mere Mortals’ and season three of ‘Loot’ on Apple TV+, as well as Hulu/FX’s ‘Interior Chinatown’ (executive produced by Taika Watiti), and the Emmy award-winning MAX comedy ‘Hacks’ (starring alongside Jean Smart).

 When not acting, David spends his days writing for television, film, and stage. In 2019 David workshopped his original play “Texture”, producing a sold out limited run of performances.

On his off time David enjoys spending time singing and playing on his guitar and ukulele.
