Synopsis:
The play centers on a Times Square tarot and palm reading storefront run by a married pair of grifters. Everything changes when a wealthy and mysterious new client appears.

Cameron Scott is a Connecticut-based playwright who was educated at NYU. A previous play, That Day Is Coming, Every Day Is Coming, was produced by Open-Door Playhouse. His play, Uphill, was a winning play at ESTAFest (Eastern States Theatre Association). He has also served in administrative capacities on numerous Broadway shows. His dramatic work in audio has appeared on the Apple Podcast charts in 49 countries with multiple #1's in Drama.

Bernadette Armstrong moved to Los Angeles to work in film in the late 1990’s and after her first two films went to festivals she took a short hiatus from writing until she fell in love with small theater. Since 2008 she has had several successful theater projects produced in No Hollywood. Her play The Reading Group was named Pick of the Week by LA Weekly Magazine and in 2017 her play Simple Lives was nominated for Outstanding Writing of an Original Play or Musical by the Valley Theater Awards (the only woman nominated).

Camille Ameen as Mary
Camille has acted on Broadway, off-Broadway & major regional theatres. Most recently, she appeared in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Gilmore Girls. Other TV shows include ER, L.A. Law, Newhart, Roseanne, and Kate & Allie. She had the pleasure of performing in Othello, starring James Earl Jones and Christopher Plummer, Garland Wright's K-Impressions of Kafka's The Trial with Kathy Bates, Awake and Sing opposite Nancy Marchand, Miss Julie & The Stronger with Rip Torn and Geraldine Page, Pirandello's Chee-Chee with Actors Theatre of Louisville, and 2 productions each of A Streetcar Named Desire and The Three Sisters. She co-founded a theatre-based non-profit for underserved middle schoolers, which became so successful (she went to the White House to accept an award for the organization) that she had to let go of other passions. Now, she's thrilled to be acting again with Open-Door Playhouse. She's extremely grateful for the opportunities she's received.

Matt Foyer Selected acting credits include The Comedy of Errors(Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Portland), Unseen Shepherd (Edinburgh Fringe Festival - The Space on the Mile), Tir Na nOg (The Magic Theatre, San Francisco), Unfinished American Highwayscape, number 9 and 32, Mother Courage and Her Children, and Tartuffe (theatre@Boston Court, Pasadena), Oscar (The Kennedy Center, Washington D.C.), and most recently, Once (Rubicon Theatre, Ventura), among others. He is a member of Theatre Banshee in Burbank. Recent films include Mistake (currently making the rounds at a film festival near you), The Whisperer in Darkness, and Something Strange. Matt received his education and training from the California Institute of the Arts. And, when not acting, Matt can be heard playing flute, Irish penny whistle, harmonica, and mandolin for the bands Slugger O’Toole and The Johnny Come Latelys. Matt is a member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA.

Noelle Evangelisti as The Mark
Noelle earned an MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts. She has worked on major motion pictures including: Terminator Two: Judgement Day, LA Confidential, The Babysitter and Pacific Heights. Noelle has performed in numerous theaters in Los Angeles and Chicago. Three of her favorite and most memorable roles were: Prudence in Beyond Therapy at Ruth Page in Chicago, Liz in The Philadelphia Story and The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet at Hillside Rep in Los Angeles. She still loves working on commercials and voiceovers and had a great time doing a radio play pre-Covid with the Screen Actors Guild. She feels blessed to work with Bernadette and everyone at Open Door!

Allan Wasserman celebrates over fifty years as a working actor in many feature films ...such as Suburbicon playing opposite Matt Damon and directed by George Clooney and Funny People opposite Adam Sandler and directed by Judd Apatow and many more. His numerous television appearances include recurring guest star work as Rabbi Sherman on the upcoming series The Shrink Next Door opposite Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd, Hunters as well as the F/X pilot Gone Hollywood, and numerous guest stars on Arrested Development, Castle, Two Broke Girls, Bones, The Office, ER, The Sopranos, Boston Legal, Las Vegas, Sex and the City, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Seinfeld. On stage Allan performed on Broadway in The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel with Al Pacino and in many plays in numerous theaters around the country. Allan is an alto saxophonist, vibraphonist and bandleader of The Allan Wasserman Jazz Ensemble.
